Dr. Ligon is an obesity medicine specialist dedicated to patient-centered care, emphasizing a multidisciplinary and comprehensive approach to caring for patients with obesity and related medical complications. With considerable knowledge of current research and latest treatments, she focuses particularly on pharmacotherapy, optimizing nutrition, and incorporating physical activity. Dr. Ligon creates weight management plans tailored to each patient's unique needs and provides compassionate, stigma-free support, helping patients achieve their health and wellness goals.

Biographical Info

Dr. Ligon graduated from Swartmore College with a BA in Biology and earned her medical degree from Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Ligon completed both her Internal Medicine Residency and Obesity Medicine Fellowship at NewYork-Presbyterian/91Âé¶¹¾«Æ· Medical Center.
